I haven’t written an introduction yet, so I’ll share briefly about my self here. I was born in Minnesota, raised in New Jersey, and finished up high school in Michigan. A few months after high school I moved to New Zealand and spent eight months with Youth with a Mission there. YWAM was an incredibly challenging experience that I’ll forever be grateful for. It instilled something in me, a deep desire for community I guess you could say.
With that in mind, I spent the next several years after that travelling around the country, working seasonal jobs here and there, and searching. Searching for myself, for others, for God. After a while, the nomadic lifestyle began to wear on me so I ended up here in Portland with the intent of putting some roots down. I’ve been here for a hair over a year now, and in the Gladstone Community for nearly two months.
Things are still in the beginning stages here at the community, but it’s exciting to see where things are headed.
